Rocio and Lars's journey began in 2022, when two individuals from different cultures were brought together by love and a shared passion for business. Lars founded Loki Knives in 2017, focusing on importing handmade knives from Lapland, Finland. However, the challenges of the global pandemic forced the business to pause.

In July 2022, after getting married, Rocio and Lars decided to join forces to revive the business, combining their strengths, vision, and deep commitment to quality. Together, they relaunched and rebranded the company as R&L Imports. By May 2023, R&L Imports was fully established, with a mission to bring the finest Finnish craftsmanship to discerning customers across the United States.
